Frank Rizzo

I has been covering theater and arts in Connecticut since 1977.

I am theater critic and arts writer for The Hartford Courant. I have

been with the Courant for 30 years.

I have been with Variety for 9 years as its New England critic and

reporter.

I also talk about theater every Friday during the 9 o;clock hour on

FOX/CT

I also have written for such publications as American Theatre

Magazine, the New York Times and the Sondheiom Review.

I grew up in Maynard, Massachuseets, received a BA in journalism/

theater at the University of Arizona; received a Shubert Fellowship in

playwriting at the U of A where I went to graduate school.
