Friday, September 10 (2010) at 7pm at The Milford Public Library - FREE and Open to the Public – Reading of “Trumbo”

Square One Theatre presents five-time award-winning actor Alexander Kulcsar of Fairfield in a special staged reading of Trumbo: Red, White & Blacklisted. Described as insightful, extremely humorous, touching and historically accurate, it’s the story of legendary screenwriter Dalton Trumbo who defiantly stood-up against the House Un-American Activities Committee in 1947 and was thrown in prison and blacklisted as one of the 'Hollywood Ten.' Also features Peter Wood of Stratford as the narrator.

Tom Holehan, Artistic Director of Square One, will stage the reading, sponsored by The Milford Bank. The Friends of Square One Theatre will serve light refreshments after the Q & A with the actors and director following the reading, which is FREE and open to the public. NO reservations will be accepted. Doors open at 6:30 pm for general seating only, first-come, first-served.
